A Baby Shower Puzzle Game Race
We all love to have a puzzle race. The baby shower puzzle race game requires at least 2 toddler puzzles boards, each with the same amount of pieces. When the baby shower guests are ready, take out the puzzle pieces and mix them up on a table. The guests will be fooled into thinking this is an easy game. When you say "go", have 2 guests try to complete their puzzle first. The shower guest who finishes first goes on to the next round and challenges a new guest. Maybe you can add in different puzzles or switch it up as each round goes so as to make it harder on the winner of each round. Continue rounds until a final winner is crowned. The puzzles can then be given to the mom-to-be as a gift for the baby. The winning guest can also get a baby shower party favor as a prize for being the best at the game. This could be a small puzzle that they can call there own for winning the game.

A Baby Shower Tag a Name Game
You're it; time for shower tag. Shower Tag is a nice way for shower guests to help the mother-to-be. Use your gift tag to help name the baby. If the mother-to-be does not have a name picked out for the baby you can try to inspire her by writing your favorite choice for baby's name on the gift tag of your gift. This name can help the mother-to-be pick beautiful names they have not yet considered. Think of the mother when you right this. Do not only consider using common names, but maybe something with a little twist to it as well. How rewarding would it be if the mother-to-be really uses a name you picked out?!

The hostess of the game chooses a letter and asks the guests to come up with as many baby associated words as they can starting with that letter. You may want to set a time limit for each letter to make the game more interesting. This could make it more of a challenge. You may even consider teams. Give each player a tally mark under their name on the back of the card for each word they guess correctly. The player with the most marks gets that card. At the end of the game, the player with the most cards wins. Have baby shower party favors on hand to give out to the winner. Your favors can be fun or formal depending on the tone of your party.

A Game of Switch or Keep at the Baby Shower
So I have to ask you switch or keep? Let your guests decide if they want to switch or keep their prize in this baby shower game. You will need two decks of cards (one deck for you and one deck to deal to the guests) and several non expensive gifts. Check the dollar store for small prizes you think the shower guests will enjoy. Deal each guest 3 cards each. Once everyone has a card the hostess will take a card from her deck and call out to see if one of the guests has that card in their hand. If they do they get to take a gift. Then the hostess calls out the next card. The guest with the next match gets to either pick a gift from the hostess or take a gift from one of the players. The game continues until the last card is called. This is a game that will build excitement and anticipation for all during the game. The gifts are then opened by those who still have one. So keep your fingers crossed and maybe strategically place the gifts so as to make a certain individual be the winner of this party. The shower hostess can get really creative with this and create a corsage out of all of the ribbons and bows left over from the baby shower gifts. Or maybe you can crown her as the next mom-to-be and have her wear a tiara for the duration of the baby shower party. Try having a sash for her to wear that says "I'm Next". Have her parade around and show off her new crown to everyone that is at the party. It will be fun to see if she really is the next mom-to-be!
